If you’d like to become certified to work in the fields of radon measurement or radon mitigation, you need to complete an approved class, and you need to pass the appropriate exam. So where do you find these things?
We have the radon classes here at Rutgers. You can sign up for an online version of Radon Measurement Proficiency any time, but if you prefer the two-day classroom version, it will be taking place on August 26 and 27.
The mitigation class is not available online due to a required amount of “hands-on” content, but you can enroll in the three-day Radon Mitigation Proficiency course here. It’s happening on August 28 – 29.
These are the last dates we will be offering the classroom courses until 2020.
We no longer give the required exams here. After completing a radon class, a student can sign up for the necessary exam at psiexams.com and then take the test at a PSI testing center.
If you have any questions, please call (848) 932-7317 and ask for Joe.
Maybe we’ll see you soon.
