International Radon Symposium in Nashville Cancelled

May 12, 2020 Joe Leave a Comment

Due to the COVID-19 situation, the 2020 International Radon Symposium in Nashville has been cancelled.

Below is an announcement from Dallas Jones, the Executive Director of the American Association of Radon Scientists and Technologists. Maybe we’ll all do better next year.

On behalf of the AARST Board of Directors, I am letting you know that the contract with the Grand Hyatt Nashville to host the 2020 International Radon Symposium has been cancelled. I know many were looking forward to spending time and seeing friends in Music City. Staff will be looking to schedule the Symposium in Nashville for 2023.

Over the next several weeks, the BOD will be considering virtual event alternatives. As decisions and plans are finalized, I will keep everyone posted.

We cannot thank you enough for your loyal support and participation and sincerely appreciate your understanding as we move through the months ahead.
